Terms of use and sale

Article 1 — Purpose and acceptance

1.1 What the service does

Planix generates personalised travel itineraries using artificial intelligence. From a destination, dates and preferences, it produces a day-by-day plan with activities, restaurant suggestions, a budget estimate and a map.

1.2 Acceptance

Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms. Together with the privacy policy, they form the entire agreement between you and the publisher.

1.3 Publisher

The service is published by Abdelmounaim Belghalem, sole trader. Full details are set out in the legal notice.

Article 2 — Access to the service

2.1 Registration

Access to generation features requires creating an account with a valid email address. You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential.

2.2 Minimum age

The service is reserved for people aged 15 or over. By creating an account you declare that you are at least 15. If we learn that an account was created by someone younger, it will be deleted along with the associated data.

2.3 Availability

The service is provided without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of third-party provider failures.

Article 3 — Pricing and payment

3.1 Free offer

Creating an account and generating a first itinerary are free, with no card required. This free trip, limited to one per account, gives you the complete day-by-day itinerary with an estimated budget; it is not verified. It remains available with no time limit for as long as the account is active.

3.2 Paid offers

Two offers, with no subscription and no automatic renewal. Trip verification applies to an itinerary that has already been generated: its addresses and opening hours are cross-checked against Google Places data, and the verified version remains accessible with no time limit. The Planix Pass opens up unlimited trip generation and verification for twelve months. Beyond the free trip, only a valid Pass allows a new itinerary to be generated.

3.3 Pricing

The applicable prices are those displayed on the pricing page at the time of the order. They are inclusive of all taxes where applicable. Each purchase is a one-off payment: no recurring charge is set up.

3.4 Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. The publisher has no access to card details. The purchased entitlement is opened on the account once the provider confirms payment.

3.5 Validity

A trip's verification is acquired with no time limit for as long as the account is active. The Planix Pass expires twelve months after purchase; a further purchase before that date extends the current period rather than replacing it. These entitlements are lost if the account is deleted and are neither transferable nor convertible into cash.

Article 4 — Right of withdrawal

4.1 Principle

Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen days from purchase to withdraw, without having to give reasons.

4.2 Exception for immediate performance

Trip verification is performed immediately: by requesting it, you expressly request performance of the service before the end of the period and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal over that service once the trip is verified. The Planix Pass, performed over twelve months, remains subject to withdrawal for fourteen days; the refund is then reduced in proportion to what has already been supplied, in accordance with article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code.

4.3 How to exercise it

To exercise this right, send an unambiguous request to contact@planix.fr. Refunds are issued within fourteen days of receiving the request, using the same payment method as the purchase.

Article 5 — Artificial intelligence and limits of the service

5.1 Nature of generated content

Itineraries and assistant replies are produced by a language model. They are suggestions, not verified information. Opening hours, prices, closing days and access conditions may be inaccurate or out of date.

5.2 Verification is on you

It is your responsibility to check any decisive information with the venues themselves and official sources before travelling, booking or committing to spending.

5.3 No automated decision-making

No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken automatically. The service suggests, you decide.

5.4 Limitation of liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of inaccurate information in a generated itinerary, nor for costs incurred on that basis. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor to personal injury, in accordance with applicable law.

Article 6 — Intellectual property

6.1 Your content

The requests you write and the information you enter remain yours. You grant the publisher a licence strictly limited to processing them for the purpose of providing the service — generating your itinerary, answering your messages, maintaining your account.

6.2 Generated itineraries

You are free to use, modify, share and reuse the itineraries generated for you, including commercially.

6.3 The service itself

The brand, interface, code and documentation of the service remain the publisher's property. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights.

Article 7 — Acceptable use

7.1 Prohibited conduct

The following are prohibited: unauthorised automation of requests, reselling access to the service, attempting to circumvent usage limits, compromising the security of the service and submitting unlawful content.

7.2 Suspension

In the event of a breach, the publisher may suspend or close the account after a formal notice has gone unanswered, save in cases of clear urgency. A valid Pass is then refunded pro rata for the unexpired period, except in cases of fraud.

Article 8 — Personal data

8.1 Processing

The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

8.2 Your rights

You can export all your data and delete your account directly from your settings, without writing to us.

8.3 Cookies

The service uses trackers strictly necessary for it to work, plus analytics trackers subject to your consent. Details are set out in the cookie policy.

Article 9 — Changes to these terms

9.1 Updates

The publisher may amend these terms. Any substantial change is notified to you by email or in the app at least thirty days before it takes effect.

9.2 Refusal

If you do not accept the new terms, you may close your account before they take effect and obtain a refund pro rata for the unexpired period of your Pass. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

Article 10 — Disputes

10.1 Prior complaint

If something goes wrong, first send a complaint to contact@planix.fr. We undertake to reply within thirty days.

10.2 Consumer mediation

Failing an amicable solution, any consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Their details are set out in the legal notice.

10.3 European platform

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10.4 Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. The protective provisions of the law of a European consumer's country of habitual residence remain applicable.
